Events Administrator | June 2025 – December 2025

My time as an Events Administrator at Youth Ballet WA gave me the opportunity to work behind the scenes of performing arts productions and get a closer look at everything that goes into bringing a performance from an idea to the stage.

I worked across event administration, marketing and production, helping coordinate the many moving parts that sit behind a performance. This included creating marketing materials and event programs, liaising with venue teams about requirements and timelines, managing ticketing and audience communications, and coordinating logistics such as schedules, run sheets and external suppliers.

I also supported the team on site during bump in and bump out, which gave me valuable experience seeing how the planning and administration I had been working on translated into the physical delivery of a production.

This role strengthened my understanding of arts administration and production, while giving me more confidence working with venues, artists, suppliers and audiences — skills that I continue to bring into my event work today.
